JosephGREEKPassed away peacefully at Rowcroft Hospice, on 16th October 2025, aged 92 years. Joe will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Church, Ipplepen on Monday 17th November at 12 noon.

Bright colours to be worn please.

I Joined the Retained Fire Service in 1976 at Torquay and Joe was in charge of my first fire to attend, a Pottery Warehouse in Alexander Lane Ellacombe Torquay. A true Professional who took me under his wing and taught we the Skills needed to deal with many incidents.
This helped me in becoming a Whole Time Firefighter in 1978 and served in total 38 years thanks to Joe. RIP Chum you lived a full life.
